Our beautiful and amazing daughter Annalise Violet has entered a phase in her development where everything in the house, as well as the house itself, is fair game for intense exploration and ultimate destruction. She combs our dwelling with the dexterity and expertise of a seasoned archaeologist, seeking out any and all objects of interest within her ever-improving grasp. She now cruises along furniture with ease and has been known to climb stairs in search of her prey. Much like a wily golden retriever she is immediately at the scene of any items dropped or misplaced on the floor. Her favorites by far are newspaper, shoes and food that she has pushed from the table to retrieve at a later date and a lower altitude. She keeps us on our toes and through it all inspires awe and respect in the bleary, sleep-deprived eyes of her loving parents.
